Step   Annual Maintenance Activity
5-2  Clean and polish clear window surfaces with appropriate care for minimizing damage
5-3  Check ailerons for loose hinge linkages (up and down movement)
5-4  Check pitot tube condition and hose connections
5-5  Check instrument panel connections and instrument condition
5-6  Check control stick "play" and “dead zone”
5-7  Check for control cable condition and corrosion – along full length; check linkages/safety wiring                                                      
   
Part 6  Reassembly and Final Inspection
6-1  Inspect battery replacement schedule on ELT; check operation
6-2
 Reinstall floorboard, interior panels, seats, seat belts, ELT, aileron fairing covers
6-3  Reinstall inspection covers and inspection fairings
 6-4  Final inspection
 6-5  Logbook entry by A&P/IA Conducting Inspection
